Tonight was John Thomas' first t-ball game. He is #8 for the Simpsonville Bear Cats.
At his age, each player gets to bat and run the bases each inning, so there are only 2 full innings. The coach pitches 6 balls and if the player doesn't hit, then he gets to hit off of a tee.
First time up at bat, John Thomas hit a foul then got a base hit off the tee. Once in the field he played between the pitcher and 1 baseman.

Second time at bat, he hit off the coaches pitch YAY!! He was so proud! He played shortstop the second time on the field. He made a really great catch during the inning.
After the game, the teams high fived and then Coach Randy presented the game ball. He said that the game ball was going to the player that made a really good play during the game. Tonights game ball went to JOHN THOMAS!! Talk about a proud moment.

Like he's done it a million times. I was so proud. Yes, glasses are still upside down.
Not a great pic, but John Thomas patiently waiting for Dr. Ann.

Behind our neighborhood there are a few small trails through the woods, very fun for little explorers, there is even a little sandy area where he played after the hike and dipped his feet in the river (only ankle deep and very sandy bottom)
The picture below is a depiction of an ancient survival technique passed down from man to son since the age of time… how to survive when the nearest potty isn’t close enough to make it
