John Thomas Day!

John Thomas Day! Since John Thomas has been such a good kid this week we decided to take he and Bryson to Frankies Fun Park. We had a blast, and John Thomas is still talking about driving the go cart by himself. Bryson enjoyed John Thomas Day as well--one of the perks of being a little brother!

After Frankies we went home for a little break before heading out to Discovery Island. Our church was hosting a preschool event. We always have a great time!
Can you beleive that after this day packed full of fun, John Thomas asked if he could go to Gatti Town. We’ll his exact words weren't quite so nice... He said, “we never go to Gatti Town, that pisses me off” Eeeekkkk. Chalk that one up to me, I catch myself saying that all of the time.

Pool Fun at Home

We're Home!

Home Sweet Home---We got home last night around 11:00 p.m. Bryson seems to be feeling fine so hopefully we caught it early. We had a blast at the beach but being home is such a nice feeling. My bed, my shower, my couch. John Thomas wants to know if we’re going back since Bryson is feeling better… Hopefully we’ll go back around Labor Day!
Below are some more pictures that I haven't posted.

Heading Home...

We’re heading home… Bryson woke up with a pink eye this morning. I thought that maybe it was just irritated but John thought that it may be something else. I took him to the dr (yes in Myrtle Beach) and they told me that he had strep… I had no idea. No fever, no runny nose no nothing. We’re packing up and heading home. I’d just rather be close to home in case John Thomas gets it. I am not looking forward to 4+ hours in the car.

Gangs All Here!

The gangs all here… We met up with our friends today at Ocean Lakes. Brad’s mom played host to, 8 adults, a college student, 5 toddlers, and baby Garrett. We had a blast! I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves!

Medieval Times

Medieval Times Night-For as long as I can remember John has been begging to go to Medieval Times. Today, Pirateland had two of the cast members come out and do a demonstration. That’s all it took to get the boys begging to go too. Luckily, they were running a special that kids are free so we took advantage and headed to the castle. I was a little leary but it was a great show. You eat with your hands (even kids)—the menu: baby dragons (baked chicken), dragon toes (a rib), dragon ears (1/2 of a baked potato), soup and bread. The boys (even the big one) really enjoyed it, I’m glad we went!
