Pumpkin Patch Pictures

With Halloween right around the corner, we joined our best friends for a day at Stewarts Farm in Laurens, SC. There were 6 boys five and under and 1 sweet girl. We had a great time picking pumpkins, playing in the hay, and on the tractor ride! Enjoy the pics (click to make them larger).

A Cute Pic

John Thomas' first field trip as 9/22 to Nivens Apple Farm. One of the parents gave us this sweet picture of his class. He's in the front window not looking at the camera (as always).

What's in a Name?

So today on the way into school, I asked John Thomas if he liked his name. He responded yes. I then asked if he liked to be called JT (yes people try to shorten his beautiful name to JT, something I don't like-well something I hate). He said "no, I do not like JT at all, but can I be ET?" :) I said sure you can be ET. Then he said "No, I want to be John, so that I can be like Daddy". Is he awesome or what?

Answer me this...

Every morning during the week I have to wake John Thomas up for school and he is clearly not ready to get up. He struggles to wake up. John says most days he has to wake Bryson up too, however he's a morning baby and jumps right up. So why is it that on Saturday and Sunday they are usually up and ready to start their day the minute the sun peeps into their window???
