Chicken Nuggets & Foo Fries: Fishing at the Beach!

John Thomas and Bryson have been begging to go fishing so off we went to find some fishing poles. John Thomas picked Spiderman and Bryson got Scooby Doo. After buying some hooks and worms we loaded up and found a nice spot near one of the ponds. I had to bait John Thomas’ hook so he wouldn’t think I was a wuss (ewww) and John took care of Bryson. After about 30 minutes John Thomas actually caught a small fish! We threw him back and a few minutes later I see John Thomas reeling in his line and the bobbin is going crazy. He caught another one, this one was a little bigger. Bryson didn’t catch anything, and by the way he reacted to John Thomas’ fish, he liked it that way.

After fishing we headed in for lunch and naps.

We hit the beach around 4 and it was the perfect time. It wasn’t crowded, the breeze was nice, and it wasn’t so hot. We had a great time looking for diggers and building sand castles. I can’t wait until next year!
